President Lowell will address the Freshman Smoker in the Union on Wednesday, March 29. Braman Gibbs '36, chairman of the Smoker Committee, announced last night. President Lowell, who will be introduced by Shaun Kelly, Jr. '36, president of the Freshman Class, will speak for about 20 minutes on an unannounced subject. His speech will be the first event on the program.

O'Hara May Speak

Other plans are taking shape for the annual Freshman gathering. The services of Harry Bolden, the negro entertainer, have been secured for the evening. Several other amusements are under the Committee's consideration, notably a speech by Neal O'Hara '15, but no decision has been reached.

Copper ashtrays inscribed, "H 36," will be given to each member of the class as a souvenir. Cigarettes and tobacco will be on every table. The committee has decided not to supply pipes this year, as satisfactory pipes are too expensive.
