STRIKERS PARADE THROUGH SQUARE DEMANDING UNION

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With placards waving and shouts of "We want the union," about 500 strikers from the A. R. Hyde Shoe Company of East Cambridge passed in parade up Massachusetts Avenue about 12 o'clock yesterday. With the strikers marched a group of students from Harvard, Radcliffe, Wellesley, and Boston University.

The strikers have been out for more than seven weeks, and they staged the parade hoping to draw the attention of the citizens of Cambridge to their situation. The Harvard Liberal Club has become interested in the case, and in last night's meeting a committee was appointed to provide shelter and food for those who need such aid.
