A triple tie between the Lowell, Eliot and Adams nines loomed as Eliot, the league leader, was defeated by Lowell in an upset yesterday by the score of 15-4. Adams, the other contender for the league title, came from behind in the seventh to defeat Kirkland in the other game by a 6-5 margin.
