In announcing acceptance of an invitation from the Swedish government to the thirteenth international congress on the history of art in Stockholm, September 4 to 7, the State Department designated A. K. Porter, William Dorr Boardman Professor of Fine Arts, as chairman of a delegation of six to represent the United States.
