Revival of the ancient custom of celebrating John Harvard's birthday by appropriate services, has been announced by the Harvard Memorial Society. On next Monday, November 26, the accepted date for the birth of Harvard's founder, the regular morning chapel services will be supplanted by a program commemorating this event.

The celebration, which has been arranged under the direction of Daniel E. Burbank, Jr. '37, of the Memorial Society, will consist of a sermon on John Harvard given by Henry Wilder Foote '27, a prayer, and the singing of the hymn "Old Hundred," and "Fair Harvard." Following the services the members of the society will place a wreath on the John Harvard statue. All members of the University are invited to these commemorative services.
