SMITH GIRLS LANGUISH IN DIRTY DILEMMA

For a certain few days last week Clark House led a very trying existence. Outwardly they showed no signs of their plight, for being a very sensitive group of maidens, they feared ostracism from the rest of the college if their unfortunate position were discovered.

In three words: They Were Unwashed! The drains of Clark House became clogged, an incident which necessitated the meagerest and, in most cases, the most insufficient use of soap and water.

The trouble, however, was finally located and rectified. And so, once more, Clark House is an integral part of Smith College, and the spaces behind its cars are once again free for inspection (we hope!) Smith College Weekly
