Twenty Varsity rugby players have been invited to play a series of matches at Bermuda during spring vacation, James A. Potter '34, president of the Harvard Rugby Club said yesterday. The Bermuda Athletic Association which extended the invitation has promised all expenses on the island, but the rugger men wishing to go on the trip must pay their steamship fare.
According to present plans, the Harvard team would play two matches with the English Rugby Club and a third with the Yale Varsity outfit, which is also entering competition with the island teams. The Elis have already decided definitely to go on the trip, while Harvard's booters will find whether enough players contemplate going to make it possible for them to send down a full team. They will meet in Eliot's junior common room Friday night at 8 o'clock.
