Nineteen Juniors and twelve Sophomores were appointed by the Student Council last night to run in the Student Council elections which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21 and 22.
Six Juniors and three Sophomores will be elected from this group of nominees, and five additional Juniors and three Sophomores will be appointed by the old and new members of the Council after the elections.
The Juniors nominated, including the present Student Council members from the Class, are: Arthur Atwood Ballantine, Jr., Anthony Addison Bliss, Thornton Brown, Frank Stanton Deland, Jr., Raymond Dennett, Braman Gibbs, Milton Gabriel Green, John Robert Haley, Robert Carlton Hall, Benjamin Harding Hallowell, Shaun Kelly, Jr., Francis Keyes, Milton Zelig Paisner, Robert Smith Playfair, Henry Varnum Poor, Edwin Howard Baker Pratt, Thomas Henry Quinn, Robert Morton Terrall, and LeMoyne White.
The Sophomores appointed were: Thomas Herbert Bilodeau, John Bradford Bowditch, Emile Dubiel, George Steven Ford Hamilton Hadden, Jr., James Brewster Hallett, George Gordon Hedblom, Charles Wells Hubbard, III, Anthony Joseph Drexel Paul, Jr., Charles Moorfield Storey, Jr., Robert Blake Watson, and William John Watt.
Additional names may be made by petitions, which must contain 25 signatures of members of the class of the candidate. All such petitions must be sent to E. Francis Bowditch '35, President of the Council, at Dunster C-46 by Saturday, May 18.
