Two strong undefeated teams meet today when Coach Samborski's undefeated Yearling nine opposes the Holy Cross Freshman team on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock.
The Crimson expect plenty of trouble from the Worcester aggregation, for Holy Cross has defeated the Brown Freshmen by the overwhelming score of 18-1 and Brown was the team which put a blot on the Harvard record by holding it to a 5-5 tie.
Don Prouty will be the '39 pitcher who will go to the mound to harness the slugging power of the Purple. If the heavy hitting of the Harvard nine, which has produced an average of ten to twelve base knocks in the last few games, holds up the team should be able to squeeze out a victory.
The Jayvees will also play Boston Latin School here at 4 o'clock. On Saturday the Crimson were defeated 16-9 by Bridgewater Teachers College.
