From the figures released by Phillips Brooks House yesterday on its poll of the Freshman class, the Yardlings run true to form in choosing business, law, and medicine as foremost among their intended vocations.

Of the 1000 odd men in the class, 3239 answered the question as to their proposed life work, and of these 163 members, or roughly half the cross section, placed themselves in the three categories. With a total of 330 men more or less sure of their careers, the Class of 1940 had an edge of 11 men in Law and 13 in Medicine over this year's Freshman class.
