Members of Adams House will have the opportunity tonight of hearing Admiral W. S. Sims, U. S. N. retired, who will be the guest of honor at the Thursday evening dinner at 6.30 o'clock, and will speak afterwards in the Small Common Room.
The Admiral will make a few remarks on "Public Opinion and the Navy," and will answer questions on such military and political subjects as the meaning of parity with Great Britian, disarmament and what it involves, lessons of the War, tariffs, coast defense and shore establishments, the submarine and airplane.
Other guests at the "long" table will be Captain B. B. Wygant, professor of Naval Science and Tactics, Dr. Gerald A. Webb of Colorado Springs, Mr. T. H. Thomas, and Dr. E. A. Locke, of Boston.
