Though the average Harvard student takes pride in his unalienable rights to do what he pleases, even to the cutting of classes, there is one group of appointments which he never breaks, those of Freshman Week.

Featured on the schedule Registration Day is the formal opening of the Union at a buffet supper. President Conant will preside.

Other highlights of the Week's program, printed below include an academic meeting in the New Lecture Hall Saturday morning, an athletic meeting in the Union that night, and on Monday evening the annual Phillips Brooks House Reception with undergraduate leaders as speakers.
