Eighty-eight grid aspirants yesterday reported to Coach Dick Harlow at the first outdoor practice of the year and also the initial drill for upperclassmen. Forty-six of the men were Freshmen who have been working out in the cage since last Tuesday.

Assisting the regular staff was an unusually large turnout of Seniors including last year's captain, Russ Allen, Joe Nee, and Chuck Klein, who were working with the guards, and Ralph Pope with the backs.

Total Should Pass 100 Mark

It is expected that late arrivals during the week will bring the total over the 100 mark. The entire Varsity coaching staff was on hand along with Jayvee and Freshman coaches, Henry Lamar and Skip Stahley.
