To prove that he holds no bitter feeling against the Crimson for spoiling Yale's otherwise undefeated season in football, Ducky Pond, the Eli mentor, will present Dick Harlow, with a prized Cassowary egg this Saturday when Pond comes to Boston.
The egg was laid at the New Haven Sportsmen's show early this week with two results. First, the Cassowary that gave birth had its name changed from Charlie to Catherine; and second, its owners decided that Harlow's reputation as an ornithologist should be recognized by Yale.
