BAND BACK FROM SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND TRIP TO PRINCETON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Despite a $2000 endowment used to doll up the Princeton band in gaudy uniforms, observers came back with the impression that Harvard's penniless aggregation was able to outdo them.

Off on its first weekend jaunt to New York in six years starting immediately after Thursday's rally, the band performed in Palmer Stadium after one hour of practice, opening its program by spelling "Hello Nassau" and "Herring."

In the between the halves interval the band formed "Hold That Tiger" and then proceeded to play a Tiger medley including Tiger Rag.

Other activities of the band were a Friday concert at the Harvard Club of New York and another concert on the boat coming back on Sunday.
