Crimson's Annual "Predictions" Reach New High in Inaccuracy--Batting Average .125

W. Russell Bowie, Jr. '41, and Eliot L. Richardson '41, both of Winthrop House, were last night chosen president and Ibis respectively at the Lampoon's annual elections.

In its traditional attempt to prognosticate Lampy's executive board on the day before the election, and then prematurely to announce the "results" as a fait accompli, the CRIMSON yesterday laid an ostrich egg in correctly picking only one man out of an executive board of eight.

Herbert G. Pratt '41 was chosen circulation manager, as announced yesterday, giving the CRIMSON a batting average of .125.

The complete roster of officers as elected last night is as follows: Bowie, president; Richardson, Ibis; B. Gherardi Davis '41, Narthex; Edward J. P. Zimmerman '41, secretary; Alfred Jaretski '41, treasurer; John F. Brooks '41, advertising manager; Pratt, circulation manager: and Malcolm E. Thomson '41, assistant advertising manager.
