DIRECTOR WELLES TO STUDY THEATRE COLLECTION HERE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Orson Welles, director and leading man in "Five Kings" which opens at the Colonial Theatre Monday evening, is planning a special visit to Harvard next week to study the theatre collection at Widener Library.

Mrs. Hall, who is in charge of the drama selections in the library, said that Welles is especially interested in Harvard and would like to visit here several times before his new show leaves Boston. Rehearsals, which are taking place this week, occupy more than 12 hours of his time every day, she said; and the date of his visit is as yet indefinite.
