1. The A. F. of L. is recognized as the sole bargaining agent for dining hall workers.
2. The University will hire all new employees from the A. F. of L. "or if the union cannot within a reasonable time furnish a suitable employee, from such other sources as the University may deem proper". These workers, however, must join the union within three weeks.
3. Waitresses who have worked more than a year at Harvard will get $1 increase in pay; those who have worked over two years will be entitled to a $2 raise, or $16 a week Other dining hall workers will get small increases in salaries.
4. Pending national legislation on social security, "the question of any changes in the pension plan (will await) further general developments."
