President Bars Tax Cuts

WASHINGTON--President Roosevelt today laid down a broad administration tax program barring any cut in federal revenues and opposing substitute rates for business deterrent levies which would penalize small enterprises.

He made his views clear at a press conference shortly after renewing his demand that Congress appropriate an additional $150,000,000 for relief or assume full responsibility for hardships to 5,000,000 W.P.A. workers and their dependents resulting from the current economy drive.
