Try-outs for the 10 or 15 vacancies on the debate squad will be held in the Lowell House common room, February 20, at 8:15 o'clock, Jack Orloff '41, president of the society, announced.

Candidates should prepare a five minute speech to support either the affirmative or negative of one of the following questions: "Should anti-democratic organizations be suppressed?", "Is isolation or an active, partial foreign policy advisable in the present crisis?", "New Deal or Republicanism in the presidential year?"

The Harvard Forum of the air will be on Radio Station WAAB every Friday afternoon from 3 to 4 o'clock with round table discussions added to the customary debates, Orloff said. In addition to the excursion to Amherst for the tournament debate with Yale and Princeton this weekend, the team will meet Radcliffe, Georgetown, Wellesley, Brown, Johns Hopkins, John Marshall, Stanford and Southern colleges.
