HOCKEYMEN MEET 97 CLUB TODAY

Hodder Will Use Informal Match To Bolster First Line and Defense

Meeting the 97 Club in an informal return engagement, the hockey team takes up the wars again this evening at the Boston Skating Club. As an added feature the Freshmen, unscored upon in four previous starts, will tackle a Framingham High sextet.

Hodder plans to use this unofficial encounter as a chance for experimentation in hopes of finding another effective scoring unit to supplement his first line and to line up reserve defense men for the rest of the season.

In a previous game with the 97 Club last December, the Varsity drew 2 to 2. However, since it was the first time that the Clubmen had been on the ice together, it is altogether probable that they have improved as much as or more than the Hoddermen.

Two days ago the Junior Olympics, twice victors over the Crimson in informal tilts, skated to a 5 to 5 tie with this evening's opposition.
