The Crimson Varsity golfers meet Amherst in a non-league encounter at Belmont this afternoon, the last home match of the season for Harvard. Coach Hodder's squad, lodged in a three-way tie for the Eastern crown with Dartmouth and Yale, is favored to overcome the Lord Jeffs and avenge last year's 5 1/2 to 3 1/2 defeat.
There will probably be one change in the Harvard lineup, with Sophomore Ned Tuckerman being inserted at number six in place of Bill Allis. On Friday the linksmen will journey to Stamford, Connecticut to break the deadlock with the Big Green and the Elis.
