Fresh from their 8 to 1 win over Boston University Wednesday, the Harvard Varsity golfers will fire their opening shots in Eastern Intercollegiate League play this afternoon at Belmont with an improved Brown team providing the opposition. Last year the Bruina were 9 to 0 victems, the newcomers Paine and Blomstedt have made them a title contender.

Harvard's lineup is uncertain because there may be some changes made as a result of the Boston University match. Pete Mcgowan paced his mates then with a fine 74 over a cold, windswept course.
