HARRIERS IDLE AS B. U. CANCELS MEET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the last minute, Boston University's cross country team called off their meet with the Crimson harriers, scheduled for yesterday afternoon. Underdogs in the meet, the Terriers decided to call it off because of the drafting of several of their men.

As was expected, Northeastern failed to appear at their meet with the Jayvees, which was also on the program for yesterday afternoon, because of a conflict of hours.

This double cancellation may handicap the Crimson in its important meet next Friday with Holy Cross and Rhode Island, since Coach Jaakko Mikkola had intended to pick the starting team from the results of today's contests.
