Kane to Head '46 Football Managers, Will Run Jayvees

Capping a six-week competition that started the Tuesday after the Pre-Fight game, Theodore G. Kane '46 of Greenwich, Conn. and Eliot House was elected yesterday to head a five-man Freshman managerial staff that will run the Jayvee squad through the Yale game to New Haven.

Edward L. Bigelow of Eliot House, Willard T. Daetsch of Leverett House, Putnam B. McDowell of Winthrop, and George C. Warren, also of Winthrop, were named as Kane's Freshman assistants. They were chosen from a group of 15 competitors who will try again in the spring for Sophomore managerial posts.
