Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt will be initiated into the Radcliffe Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa preceding the annual dinner there on December 11, it was announced Saturday.

Although an honorary membership in the chapter was conferred upon Mrs. Roosevelt in June 1941, the proposed initiation last December was cancelled because of the entrance of the United States into the war.

Will Give Speech

"The Contribution of American Women Toward the the Winning of the War" will be the subject of the First Lady's speech which is to follow the dinner.

Miss Mary F. Williams, president of Phi Beta Kappa, will preside at the initiation and the dinner. President Ada L. Comstock of Radcliffe will represent the college, while Reginald H. Phelps '80, assistant dean of Harvard College and acting secretary of the Harvard PBK will represent the University.

Four Radcliffe seniors will be initiated in the same ceremony as Mrs. Roosevelt: Pauline Berman. Diaua Fraser. Jane Hyde, and Marietta Rona.
