Railroading Association To View Movies, Photo Exhibit

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Forced to cancel its program of excursions because of the war, the Harvard Railroading Association is contenting itself with a series of motion pictures, it was revealed by its founders Robert B. Ryan, Arthur S. Eldridge, and Robert Lawthers, all of the Class of 1945.

The organization, formed last fall, now meets in Holworthy 3 and has a membership varying from ardent model-builders to railroad employees. It is at present planning an exhibition of rail photography, featuring pictures recently taken by two of its members.

The first meeting of the movie series was held on Monday evening, when "Link and Pin", a film dealing with one of the two remaining two-foot guage lines, was shown.
