Rugby Practice to Begin On Thursday For 7 Encounters

All men of the University ca now escape the drudgery of wall-jumping and ditch-hurdling if they so desire, by coming out for rugby. Reported as considerably more fun than either of the two activities mentioned, it provides plenty of bodily contact, and the authorities approve of it as a substitute for the labors that may be entailed in the new sports program.

Practice starts at 6.30 o'clock on Thursday, in Briggs Cage, and takes place twice a week until Spring recess. Moving outdoors in the spring term, the team will have a seven-game schedule, with Cornell, Princeton, and Yale among the opponents.

With three undefeated seasons behind it, the team, trained by Coach P. S. deJ. Cabot, will teach all comers the game in "no time at all," giving beer-parties after the game instead of letters. Additional information will be supplied at practice.
