LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
With Cambridge's official blackout only two days away, the University will attempt to iron out the rough spots in its own system when it institutes a 10 minute practice blackout in the Yard dormitories tonight from 10:15 to 10:25 o'clock.
According to University officials, all occupants of rooms in the Yard must extinguish their lights promptly on the blowing of the klaxons and must not turn them or again until the all clear signal is given.
Those in charge of both tonight's and Thursday night's blackout are anxious that the University take the drills seriously as definite contributions to the war effort. Failure to comply with the blackout regulations may result in disciplinary action, University officials added.
Coincidental with the Cambridge blackout, Leverett House announced that it would hold a similar drill Wednesday night from about 10 to 10:10 o'clock.
