2 Freshman Dances Planned With Dates Unannounced

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshman dinners have been temporarily discontinued, the Freshman Interhouse Committee announced yesterday, although the dinners may be resumed at a later date. This decision was made because of the apparent lack of interest as shown by the insufficient number attending the first two dinners.

Swinging into action, the Interhouse Committee will elect a chairman within a few weeks. At the present time they are working on plans for an informal dance with orchestra, the date of which has not yet been set. In the fall another party will be held which will probably run along the lines of last year's Freshman Frolic.

The Freshman athletic program which the committee recommended in their report to the Student Council has been proving successful. The program has consisted so far mainly of an inter-House Freshman league in softball, which will be changed to touch football this week.
