ARMY STILL SEEKS MOUNTAIN TROOPS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a new call for volunteers for Mountain Troop duty, the Army has requested that men who are good physical specimens, preferably with some experience in skilng, rock climbing, or wilderness activity, sign up at the War Service Information Bureau, Little 12, by Wednesday January 13, Bureau Director Eliot Perkins '23, reported last night.

If enough men register by Wednesday, Perkins is to notify Minot Dole, chairman of the National Ski Association, who will come to Cambridge during next week to interviews applicants and this dispense with red tape concerning letter of recommendation.

Members of the E. R. C. already in the Army may request assignment to the Mountain Troops by interviewing Dole when he comes next week.

Though no one may volunteer, anymore, those accepted for the Mountain unit before induction will be ordered to training with these troops when he is inducted.
