HOUSES WILL STORE USO'S FURNITURE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Aldrich Durant '02, Business Manager of the University, announced last night that rooms have been set aside in all the Houses to receive furniture for donations to the U. S. O. Janitors will inform students of the location of these depots, he declared, and will aid in removing large articles.

The U. S. O. needs unlimited quantities of the furniture on their list, including chairs, lamps, sofas, radios, records, tables, and the like. Also needed are textbooks in mathematics, engineering, and similar sciences, books, and athletic equipment.

Transportation from the depots will be undertaken by the U. S. O. Five hundred setees, 9600 easy chairs, and 450 pianos, including 10 for foreign posts, are among the items distributed by the U. S. O., and the demands are nowhere near filled.
