LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Entering its final week, the Harvard Service Fund has already collected 75 percent of its pledges, John P. Kennedy, Jr. '44, treasurer of the Student Council, announced last night. By today 700 students who have pledged and not yet paid will receive bills from the Council, sponsor of the drive.
Pledges amounting to $12,975 have been made since September, but at present only $9595 has been collected. Winthrop House still maintains its early lead in the drive with 98 percent of its pledges collected, while Lowell is second with 90 percent. Adams and Kirkland are third and fourth with 88 and 86 percent respectively. The Freshmen in the Yard have contributed the largest single amount, almost $2000. Hardest of all groups to contact, however, has been the commuters who have pledged $2077 and only paid $635.
