The feature on tonight's program of the Harvard Film Society is "The Passion of Joan of Arc," a French film depicting the trial of the Saint. Done in a practically continuous series of close-ups, this film is a good example of the transition period just before the introduction of talking pictures.

The second film to be shown is "Rain," by Joris Ivens, an experiment in adaptation to the movies of the impressionistic methods of painting. Both these films will be shown in the New Lecture Hall tonight at 8 o'clock.
