Fashions Highlighted At Navy Wives Meeting

Adding a new touch to the weekly Thursday meetings, the Harvard Navy Wives group yesterday attended Kirkland House's first fancy and feminine fashion show. Two hundred wives, the largest attendance to date, were present.

A going-away present was given to Mrs. George N. Barker by the Navy wives. Bridge, knitting and rummy playing occupied the rest of the meeting.

The meeting was under the supervision of Mrs. Keppler, wife of Capt. C.H.J. Keppler, USN, new head of the Naval Training Schools here. Among the guests were Mrs. Barleyon, wife of the Chief-of-Staff of First Naval District, Mrs. S.L. Wilson, wife of Commander Wilson, and Mrs. W.E. Clark, wife of the Master of Kirkland House.
