H. A. A. to Bar Women from Saturday Cheering Sections; Rally Torches Flare Tonight

New Route Set for Pre-Crusader March

A new marching route will feature the season's second rally tonight, a rally which head cheerleader Gerald S. Spear '48 describes as the most crucial in three years. "It's the first time we've had to back a losing team, and as such it's a real test of the College's spirit."

The line of march will commence in front of University Hall as usual, but will travel down Holyoke, Mount Auburn Bow and DeWolfe Streets to Memorial Drive for one block, and then proceed along South Street to the Eliot-Kirkland triangle, ending up in front of the Indoor Athletic Building. This will be the standard route of rally parades from now on.

Coach Harlow will address the crowd from there, along with various members of the team. Spear will lead the cheers, which, he announced, will all have the uniform ending of "Fight, Team, Fight," rather than "Team, Team, Team." This plan will go into effect with Saturday's game, although it is not yet printed in the programs.
