Heller Named Only College Delegate To Attend Princeton's Bicentennial

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Clemens Heller 2G, graduate member of the Student Council International Activities Committee, stands as sole representative of the students of the world among a throng of distinguished scholars from seven nations assembled this week at Princeton in celebration of the University's bi-centennial.

Invited to the series of meetings on the "University and Its World Possibilities" to report on the activities of the Council International Committee, Heller joins at the conference such men as poet Archibald MacLeish, Dean Roscoe Pound, and Henri Bonnet, French Ambassador to the United States.

Theme is International

In line with discussions on "general education for world citizenship" and attempts to map inter-university relations on an international scale, Heller will present prospects for United States student participation in world affairs, basing his ideas on actions taken by the Council Committee.

Heller has been active with the Committee in organizing such projects as the tentatively planned mission to France, in which University Students would aid in the rebuilding of a college at Cannes.

Immediately prior to his trip to Princeton, he was attempting to procure dental units to send to Europe in an effort to prevent teeth decay for part of the pop ulation.
