A new professionally-oriented undergraduate society will hold its initial meeting Thursday evening, when the Social Relations Club gathers for the first time in the Lowell House Junior Common room at 7:30 o'clock.
The group which will include concentrators in the allied fields of anthropology, sociology, and psychology, plans to synthesize the three fields for its members through discussion panels, outside speakers, and meetings with faculty members, Donald H. Hunt '48, president protem said yesterday.
Thursday night's organizational meeting will vote on a proposed constitution and adopt plans for the fall term.
Hunt, a student in Social Relations, termed the group "professional" in nature, since, he said, it will be made up largely of students who plan to do further work in the field on graduation.
