Two sets of ushers to serve at Radcliffe's Baccalaureate exercises in Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 6, and at Commencement ceremonies in Sanders Theater on Wednesday, June 9, were named yesterday at the Cliffe. They will be directed in their activities by Mrs. John F. Maguire, college marshal, and Joan McPartin '49, head usher.

Costume rules issued to the corps of ushers call for traditional Radcliffe garb: all-white dresses, and white or spectator pumps with rubber heels. Hats and white gloves will be worn at the Baccalaureate services. Rubber heels are a 1948 addition to the costume, made necessary by Sanders' hardwood floors and acoustics which in other years have amplified the clatter of uncushioned spike heels.

This squad will be augmented for Commencement Day by Grace Anthony '49, Marie Benedetti '49, Virginia Cass '49, Elizabeth Crowley '49, Ann Devney '49, Natasha Drury '49, Josephine Fiske '49, Shirley Goldman '49, Marion Hayes '49, Charlotte Horwood '49, Nancy Kane '49, Winifred Libbon '49, Ruth Marshall '49, Frances McDonald '49, Ann Murphy '49, Ruth Reichart '49, Elizabeth Zacharchuk '49, Joan Braverman '50, Nina Emerson '50, Nancy Rodriguez '50, Lucia Toscano '50, Joan Bresnahan '51, Hanni Ehren theil '51, Barbara Fitzgerald '51, and Jean O'Brien '51.
