The freshman soccer team came through with the lone Harvard victory of the weekend as it downed a hard fighting Tabor eleven, 3-1, on the Business School field Saturday afternoon.
All the scoring action took place in the first half. Pete Baker, Crimson right inside, scored the first of this two goals at 7:40 of the initial period, but Bill Fanning of Tabor tied it up just 30 seconds before the end of the quarter.
Win Knowlton, after playing the first part of the game at right outside, switched to center forward for the second period, scoring Harvard's second goal from there at 3:33 of the second stanza. Baker concluded the scoring at 11:21 of the same quarter.
