Crimson Key Opens Doors To Candidates

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Competitions for the Crimson Key Society begin at 7:30 ap.m. tonight with meeting of all interested candidates in the Winthrop House Senior Common Room.

The competition, which is the first ever held by the Society, is a feature of the new Key constitution, revised last spring. Twenty openings are available to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. The elimination will run to December 19.

Successful candidates will become members of the Permanent Body of the Key, which together with the Representative Body, makes up the Society. The candidates will participate in the same work during the competition that the regular members engage in.

Candidates will have equal status in elections and policy formation with the Representative Body. The latter group is staffed by men from the various extra-curricular bodies about the College.
