Lamont Opens Up But' Cliffe Sniffs

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Over 1000 curious spectators swarmed into Lamont Library last weekend while the rightful occupants had scurried off from their workshop for a mid-year respite.

Most Cliffedwellers, however, passed up the big chance they had begged and waited for, preferring to carouse out of town.

Even so, the crowd was made up largely of women, Librarian Phillip J. McNiff disclosed last night. And the features of the now building which attracted most praise were the soothing color schemes and the arty furniture arrangements.

"It was great fun," McNiff admitted, "and we hope to do the same thing again this term." He has not decided whether the next open house will come during Easter vacation or after the term is over but Radcliffe students will probably be no more numerous than they were this time.
