'Team May Lose First Four': Valpey

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard may well lost its first four football games next season, Coach Art Valpey said last night in an informal speech at Kirkland House.

But if students support the team and aren't discouraged, it has a good chance to sweep the remaining games, he added. Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, and Army are the "first four games" and Valpey referred to.

The coach also said that Chuck Roche and Bill Henry will definitely play football here next year. The two were previously thinking of graduating this fall.
