Business Goes On As Barron's Plant Is Up for Auction

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Part of Benjamin Barron's cleaning establishment is up for an auction sale but Barron claims that his service will continue without change this week and thereafter.

Barron's Cleaners, a firm which services several hundred college students, is part of a larger outfit called Joslon and Dyers. An auction sale of Joslon and Dyers' plant equipment, five trucks, and a sedan is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday.

News of the auction led to speculation in the Square that this would also mean the end of Barron's and a loss of thousands of dollars for the students who had taken contracts with Barron. Despite the collapse of part of his firm, Barron firmly maintained that he would still have the equipment to handle the orders he has taken.
