David P. Gregory Selected to Lead Harriers in 1951

David Palache Gregory '52 of Charlottesville, Virginia and Winthrop House was elected captain of the 1951 cross-country team at a meeting of the seven lettermen yesterday afternoon. He succeeds John H. Pankey '51.

Gregory was the first Crimson finisher in all of the meets this year, of which Harvard won two, lost two and placed seventh in the heptagonals in New York. He also was the number one Harvard man in every meet last year as a sophomore and was captain of the 1952 Yardling harriers.
