Ben Gold stein and Charlie Weiss of Harvard were named yesterday to the All-New England soccer team and captain-elect dick Craven gained honorable mention. Yale won the League championship and Amherst was second. The Crimson finished seventh.
Howie Burnett of Amherst was the All-League selection and Bill Cordes of Yale, who tied Burnett's high-scoring total of nine goals, received honorable mention. Harvard, spring-field, and Amherst each placed two players on the first eleven, which was chosen by coaches of the 16 colleges in the League.
