Deans Announce Priority Listings For Grad Dorms

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tentative room allotment priorities designed to handle the more complex lodging problems resulting from the new Graduate Center Project were announced Saturday by the Dean's Office of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

In alloting rooms for graduate dormitories, the directive set up two categories:

1) Students registered for the longest period of time in the GSAS who are not now living in a graduate dormitory will receive top priority for residency next year.

2) Those residents who have lived in Perkins, Conant, or Divinity Halls for the shortest length of time will get first rating in this category over other residents. The Dean's Office believes, however, that a sufficient number of rooms has been set aside for men in the resident category to take care of everyone.

The Law School will give top priority to third year men and students entering in the fall.
