Steam Shortage Adds To Woes at Stillman

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Stillman Infirmary, already strained by the current influenza epidemic, was bit by a steam shortage yesterday.

The infirmary laundry was forced to close down, forcing nurses to skimp on clean pajamas and sheets for students. Several wards had to do without hot water for heating.

The steam lack started when two boilers were damaged in the nearby Mt. Auburn Hospital, from which Stillman gets its steam.

Meanwhile, the Stillman front desk reported last night that the infirmary's enrollment had "declined slightly" during the day.
