A tree, a noon sign, and the customary pretty-girl posters highlighted the first day of a week-long campaign for the '54 Jubilee Committee elections.

Eighteen candidates have already filed petitions with more expected to enter the race before the Wednesday deadline. Of these, ten will be elected to take charge of the traditional freshman weekend. Balloting will take place in Dudley March 3, and in Dudley and the Union, March 5.
