Boston College high-scoring star, right wing Jackie Canniff, may fight a losing battle when the Eagles meet the Yardling hockey team in the Arena at 4 p.m. today. Four B.C. players, including the two starting defensement, will be absent because of exams.

Eagle coach Jim Fitzgerald said that this loss will probably be a serious handicap. Otherwise, he thought his team had "about a fifty-fifty chance of winning."

Comparative scores indicate a close game. B.C. defeated the Northeastern freshmen twice, 5 to 3, and 2 to 1, while the Yardlings crushed the Huskies, 11 to 2. The Dartmouth freshmen beat the Eagles, 4 to 2, and edged the Crimson, 3 to 2.
